      Half Marathon 21,1km: 4 hours (10H00)

    5. Prize Giving 10H30 only prize winners
    6. Toilet facilities available at grounds. No showers or change rooms available for use.
    7. Water points every 3km & finishing line.
    8. Medical Service will be available.
    9. Route map will be made available on the club’s Facebook Page and at race pack collection venue.

    11. Results will be made available on Teemaneng Running Club Facebook Page within 72hours.



    • This race is held under rules of AGW, ASA and WA.
    • Licensed athletes must wear club colours and the 2024 license number on the back and front of their vest with the race number worn on the front of the vest. Note that the race number may not cover the ASA and sponsor logos at the top of the 2024 license.
    • No Temporary Licenses to be worn on Club colours, only on neutral colours.
    • Temporary Licenses will be available for R70 (10km AND 21.1km) and R30 (5km). To be worn in front- (according to ASA ruling.) – Temporary Licensed athletes cannot use the results as official result time to partake in further qualifying events. No insurance coverage on the Temporary Licensed athletes.
    • Athletes indemnify the national, provincial, and regional bodies, sponsors, and organisers of the race against any or all actions of whatsoever nature, whatever the same may arise out of their participation in the race.
    • All athletes participate at their own risk. Athletes acknowledge that by entering the event they are medically fit to participate.
    • All athletes must supply the name and contact number of their next of kin on both the race number and entry.
    • No blades, cyclist or mechanically operated devices allowed in the race.
    • Foreign athletes are to comply with ASA rules before entering the race.
    • Wheelchair athletes will NOT be permitted to participate.
    • No animals/pets are allowed to participate.
    • Minimum age participation 5km: 9 years; 10km: 14 years and 21,1km: 16 years.
    • Cut off time for 21,1km: 10H00 (4 hours), 10km: 08H10 (2 hours) and 5km 07H50 (1 hour and 30 minutes). Athletes will not be allowed to finish any distance races after the cut off time.
    • At the prize giving ceremony winners to be informed by the race organiser. All prize winners need to have an ID/birth certificate/Drivers license/ passport available in order to sign for acceptance of prize money.
    • Prize money to paid to athletes electronically with 72 hours. Winners to bring their ID/birth certificate/Drivers license/ passport and send banking details to the club.
    • No refunds will be given once an entry is purchased. In the event that the race is cancelled due to reasons outside the organisers’ control. (Option. The race can be converted to a virtual run. In such a case, arrangements will be made for medals to be countered to entrants. Note that this might incur extra postage fees/costs.
    • Athletes may not run with another athlete’s race number.
    • No earphones, iPods and similar devices are allowed, as they are in contravention of NEW WA rule- WA Rule T6.3.2 and will lead to disqualification.
    • The race organiser retains the rights to refuse entry and reject persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who are disorderly, or engage in inappropriate behaviour, vandalism or evade paying for admission.
    • Athletes who participate without buying a race entry will be disqualified, will not be entitled to any benefits associated with the race and will be liable for a double entry fee charge. Runners who allow their race number to be duplicated will be held liable and will face AGW disciplinary with the possibility of a ban.
    • Littering is not allowed. Athletes are to dispose of any litter in appropriate bins and can be disqualified if littering.
    • No late starters will be That is later than 5 minutes from the group start time.
    • The distance of the 42,2km results can be used as official results and qualifying time for further qualifying events. (Only license 2023/2024 athletes applicable.)
    • Adhere to the Health and Safety Rules and Regulations during the time of the event.
